Is the score a guess?
The arithmetic uses fixed weights, but some inputs are extracted by AI and can vary. The result describes our rubric, not an employer’s decision. Repeatability is not guaranteed.
Why does formatting carry the most points?
Our rubric gives layout a substantial weight because extraction problems can make a document harder to process. Those weights are product choices, not measured rejection rates across employers.
Do I need an account?
No. Upload a file and you get the score and the failures. An account is only for keeping the result and turning it into a rewritten resume.
Does a high ATS score mean I will get the interview?
No. A high score means the document met more of our checks. It does not prove that every parser will read it correctly or that the employer will invite you to interview.
What file types work?
PDF and DOCX are supported. Follow the vacancy’s upload instructions when applying; accepted file types differ by employer.
