This page lists the cookies and similar storage Vale uses, grouped by purpose, and how to control them. You set your choices in the cookie preferences, reachable from the footer or from Settings, under Data and privacy.
Necessary
These keep the site working and cannot be turned off. They include your sign-in session, your security tokens, and the cookie-consent choice itself.

Analytics
These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. They are off by default and only run after you turn them on.

→Consented product analytics via PostHog. For signed-in, non-internal accounts this may include privacy-masked session replay used only for authorized support investigation. Text and inputs are masked, and sensitive network or console content is not captured.
Marketing
Advertising measurement is off until you allow it, either with Accept all or with the Advertising measurement switch in cookie preferences. If you answered before 19 September 2026, we ask again because this choice now covers Google Ads. When configured, the Google Ads tag uses first-party conversion cookies (such as _gcl_aw) to connect an ad click to a paid purchase across our website and app. We keep a pending checkout identifier on your device for up to 24 hours to retry measurement after payment; Google receives a transaction identifier, the purchase value before tax and its currency, not your resume or job content. Personalised advertising and enhanced conversions are disabled. You can withdraw consent in cookie preferences. Optional PostHog analytics has its own consent choice.

You can change your choices any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer, or in Settings, under Data and privacy. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings; necessary cookies are needed for sign-in to work.
