Preparing your CV for Ireland
EURES describes a one- or two-page CV covering experience and qualifications. Irish employers may request an application form with its own questions and deadline. Its guidance says to supply a photograph only if requested on the form.
Check the complete application
Keep a copy of each submitted form as well as the CV. If the vacancy uses competency questions, explain the situation, your action and the result in the response field rather than writing “see CV”.
A practical writing example
For a customer-support role, use a specific example of resolving a query and explain when you escalated it. Distinguish handling the customer’s communication from personally fixing the underlying technical fault.
