What changes between an Indian resume and a CV for Ireland
CV, on the UK pattern, and nobody in Ireland says resume.
Photographs are not expected on an Irish CV and add nothing to it. Leave it off.
No date of birth, marital status or PPS number. Name, phone, email, LinkedIn, and a short profile that names the sector you are targeting.

The rules that only apply in Ireland
- Irish hiring is concentrated in a few sectors and a small number of very large employers, so naming the site and the function beats naming the industry: pharmaceutical manufacturing in Cork, medtech in Galway, the multinational technology and finance cluster in Dublin.
- Give a work-status line explicitly. Employers separate candidates who need an employment permit from those who do not before anything else, and an unstated status is assumed to be the harder one.
How your CV actually gets read in Ireland
Most large Irish employers are the European arm of a US multinational, so your application runs on the parent's system — Workday or SuccessFactors — against a requisition written in the parent's vocabulary with an Irish req number on it. Match the requisition's language rather than the local job title.
