What a Profile does
A Profile records direction such as a target role or company and provides context for profile-scoped artifacts. It does not replace the person's global Career Story.
General and directed context
A general Profile can hold whole-person work; a directed Profile frames a particular goal. The active Profile is shown in the product where it affects the current workflow.
Keep facts global
Changing Profile context does not change Story facts or facts-only completeness. It changes how downstream composition can select and frame existing evidence.
