Deletion is usually recoverable
Documents and supported notes use a tombstone so the item leaves ordinary views while it remains eligible for recovery.
The recovery window
The current product behavior uses a 30-day recovery window. After the window expires, the owning deletion process may purge the item.
Restore from the owner surface
Use Recently Deleted in the owning workspace to restore an item. If an item is unavailable or expired, the product should report that state rather than pretending it was restored.
