What ready means
Home considers an account ready when it has a non-empty Career Story and a stated target role, from onboarding or from telling Vale. Account age or an old onboarding checklist does not replace those rows.
Close one gap at a time
If the Story is empty, upload a resume for a review and explicitly confirm extracted facts, or tell Vale your history. Once Story material exists, tell Vale the role you are aiming for. Nothing is written from extraction before confirmation.
If the data cannot be read
A store failure is shown as unavailable with a retry path. Vale does not treat an unknown read as an empty Story or ask a returning customer to upload again.
