What ready means
Home considers an account ready when it has a non-empty Career Story and at least one Profile with a stated target. Account age or an old onboarding checklist does not replace those rows.
Close one gap at a time
If the Story is empty, upload a resume for a review and explicitly confirm extracted facts, or tell Vale your history. Once Story material exists, add a target to a Profile. Nothing is written from extraction before confirmation.
If the data cannot be read
A store failure is shown as unavailable with a retry path. CareerOS does not treat an unknown read as an empty Story or ask a returning customer to upload again.
