Keep notes with the job

Job detail includes an append-only note thread for the opportunity. Notes are part of the owner-scoped job record; keep sensitive information out of any report you share.

Follow-up state is limited

The current Job Tracker contract does not persist a general job follow-up state. Do not infer a reminder or notification merely because a date or note appears in the interface.

Use supported notifications

Notifications and email preferences govern the product events they explicitly support. They do not turn a job note into an automatic employer message.
