Resume and reference uploads
Resume import accepts PDF, .doc, .docx, and .txt files up to 5 MB. Vale reference files accept PDF, .docx, and .txt files up to 5 MB.

Opening is owner-checked
Files are opened through an owner-scoped path that rechecks ownership before returning a signed access URL or content. A file path is not an authorization token.
Reference files are not your facts
A reference document can be read for context or shape, but its person's claims must not become assertions about you. It is stored separately from Career Story and memory.
