Preparing your CV for Finland

EURES recommends a CV of no more than two A4 pages, with the newest work and education first. It describes a photo as optional. Its application guidance says to attach certificate copies only when the advert requests them.

Ask permission before naming a referee or sharing their contact details. Keep references in the format the employer requests. If a portal has separate questions, answer them even when the same topic appears in your CV.

A practical writing example

A graduate’s project entry can identify the research question, method and contribution: “Cleaned sensor readings, documented missing-data rules and compared two forecasting baselines.” That is clearer than listing “research” as an unsupported skill.

This is an illustrative writing example. Use only details that reflect your own experience.
