The rules that only apply in Norway

• Norwegian employers weigh formal qualifications heavily and want education documented precisely: the institution, the exact degree title, and where it matters a NOKUT recognition of your foreign qualification.
• References are asked for by name and are called. List two people with their relationship to you, not a line saying they are available on request.
• Energy and maritime employers recognise offshore and site certifications across borders where they may not recognise your employer. List them explicitly, with issue and expiry dates.
