Let the writing role guide your opening

Build a portfolio that explains your contribution

Select a small set of pieces that fit the role. For each, record the audience, purpose, your contribution and any limits on attribution. A published page alone may not show whether you researched, drafted, edited or only uploaded it. If client work is confidential, ask about permitted excerpts or create an original independent sample and label it clearly. Do not present a speculative brand exercise as a paid commission or imply endorsement by the brand.

Write stronger content experience bullets

Replace a duty such as wrote blogs with the content type, research process and editorial responsibility. The sample describes interviews, source checks and a repeatable review checklist. These details show how the work was done even without a traffic figure. A useful bullet could explain how you turned support questions into an article series or clarified a complicated product workflow. Keep claims within the part you actually owned, especially when designers, editors and product specialists also contributed.
