Explain the analysis, not just the software
Excel and presentation tools are useful, but the reader needs to know what you analysed. Name the type of model or comparison, the inputs and the checks you performed. In the sample, the candidate records source dates and assumptions for comparable-company work. That shows an auditable process without publishing a client model or implying that an estimated value was a realised sale price.
Attribute deal experience carefully
If you can disclose a transaction, distinguish announced, completed and ongoing work. State your own contribution and use anonymised descriptions when confidentiality requires it. A transaction's enterprise value is not revenue that you personally generated. Do not include non-public counterparties, financing terms or information learned through a confidential data room.
Keep credentials jurisdiction-specific
Use the qualifications and registrations you actually hold. Do not add an exam to an India-based resume simply because another sample includes it. Check the role's requirements and distinguish study plans from completed credentials.
