Separate accountability from participation

Use managed only when you held responsibility for the work described. A project coordinator can still provide strong evidence through schedules, action logs, reporting and supplier follow-up. If you controlled a delivery budget, name its scope rather than quoting the total value of an organisation's investment. Explain who approved changes and which decisions belonged to the sponsor. A clear boundary around your role is more persuasive than claiming ownership of every technical, financial and operational outcome.

Write outcomes that survive follow-up questions

On time and on budget can be useful, but only when the baseline and scope are understood. If the deadline changed through an approved decision, do not silently compare against the new date as though nothing changed. The sample describes agreed phases and readiness checks rather than declaring universal success. Other evidence might include a completed transition, an accepted deliverable or fewer unresolved handover actions. Distinguish implementation outputs from business benefits that may only be measured after the project ends.

Show risk and stakeholder work in action

Instead of listing stakeholder management as a standalone strength, give an example of a dependency surfaced, a decision clarified or a disagreement resolved. Explain the action taken and the route used to reach a decision. The sample identifies a migration dependency before a readiness review without implying the manager performed the technical migration. Keep client-sensitive issues anonymous. You can describe the type of risk and the communication process without publishing a private risk register or confidential project documents.
