Explain a trial from brief to handover

A trial bullet should identify the question, the work you performed and the output you produced. You might record ingredient weights, track process observations or prepare a comparison for the development lead. Say whether the trial was a bench experiment, pilot run or commercial-scale activity. These settings carry different constraints. A successful pilot does not establish that a formulation is ready for sale, and a student exercise should never be described as a validated manufacturing process.

Be precise with quality and sensory claims

Sensory feedback from a small internal group can help a team choose what to test next. It does not prove that consumers prefer a product across a market. Include the number and type of participants when relevant, and explain the limits of the comparison. Similarly, supporting shelf-life sampling is different from approving a shelf-life claim. Keep food safety decisions, release authority and label approval with the people who actually held those responsibilities. Your resume can show valuable support without overstating it.

Select technical skills you can discuss

Group practical methods, documentation and analysis tools rather than creating one long string of food-science terms. Name HACCP or other systems only at the level you have studied or used, and list earned credentials accurately. A course does not make you the owner of a site's food safety system. If you used a laboratory instrument, be ready to explain the sample, the purpose of the test and how you recorded the result. Leave out confidential recipes and commercial specifications.
