State the scope without exposing private details

Name the level and number of executives you supported rather than disclosing sensitive personal schedules. A director, a founder and a board committee may each require different support. Mention recurring meeting cadence, team size or travel complexity when those details are appropriate to share. Avoid including private client names, travel itineraries or examples of confidential correspondence. The goal is to explain your judgement and organisation, not to prove access to information that should remain private.

Write meeting support as a complete sequence

A strong meeting bullet can cover preparation, coordination and follow-through. Explain how you collected papers, checked an agenda, recorded decisions or confirmed action owners. The sample tracks ownerless overdue actions, a specific administrative problem that improved over two reviews. It does not claim that the assistant made leadership decisions. If you prepared minutes for approval, say that. If you only booked the room and arranged materials, describe those responsibilities accurately rather than borrowing a governance role.

Make prioritisation visible in your examples

Instead of saying you thrive under pressure, describe what you did when priorities changed. You might have reorganised a travel day, found a meeting slot across time zones or clarified which deadline took precedence. Keep the focus on your process and communication. A short example of checking with stakeholders and updating the right people is useful evidence. Avoid suggesting that constant availability or unpaid overtime is the defining quality of an effective executive assistant.
