Use a category-specific summary
Mention the buying environment and the materials or services you know. Packaging, machine spares, office consumables and production raw materials can involve different specifications and review processes. A short summary helps the reader place you before they scan the experience. Keep education beneath recent relevant employment. For a fresher, a clearly labelled purchasing placement or project may come first, but it should not be described as independent supplier management.
Show how you compare quotations
A useful bullet explains more than obtaining three prices. Describe how you checked the requested specification, quantity, unit of measure, delivery schedule and approval record. If you recommended a supplier, say who made the final decision. Avoid presenting a lower unit price as a saving when quantities, quality or other terms changed. The sample's comparison work shows an auditable process without implying that every purchase went to the cheapest supplier.
Describe follow-up through the full order
Explain what happens after a purchase order is raised. Examples include confirming a promised date, checking a partial delivery, resolving a specification question or escalating an overdue item. Distinguish your supplier follow-up from the stores team's receipt checks and finance's payment work. This makes the handover clearer. An order count or supplier count can establish scale, but neither demonstrates that every order was complete, on time or error-free.
