Replace the experience length and responsibilities with your own. Avoid a summary built only from adventurous, travel-loving and willing to work anywhere. Motivation can support an application, but the resume needs evidence of the job you can do.
Turn service duties into useful examples
A fictional hotel bullet might read: Maintained the evening shift register and assigned each unresolved guest request to the responsible department before handover. A second could say: Helped organise arrival information for a group booking and checked room-list changes with the supervisor. These examples demonstrate coordination without claiming that the candidate personally controlled every guest outcome.
For technical roles, use your actual maintenance, inspection or engineering work and the relevant qualifications. Describe supervision and approval boundaries. Do not copy another profession's safety responsibilities because they sound appropriate to a ship.
Check requirements with the cruise employer
